Joram Castle Group is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Protecting families is our work, and that has to include being reachable by every family.

The standard we follow

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard commonly referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We review our site against these guidelines and fix issues as we find them.

What we have done

Text contrast checked against WCAG AA minimums so copy stays readable, including our disclosures.
Keyboard navigation throughout, with a visible focus indicator and a "skip to main content" link on every page.
Descriptive alt text on images, and decorative images hidden from screen readers.
Labeled forms so every field is announced correctly by assistive technology.
Proper heading structure and page language set on every page, in English and Spanish.
Reduced-motion support for visitors who prefer less animation.
Captions on our short videos.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is never finished. We test as we publish new pages and content, and we welcome feedback that helps us find what we have missed. Some third-party tools we link to (such as an insurance carrier's own online application) are outside our direct control, though we choose partners with accessibility in mind.
